Objective 1
To develop high-performance SSbD coatings to substitute PFAS
- A clear pathway from lab to relevant environment validation for textiles, food and glass coatings
- Robust design to tailor optimised performance of the final SSbD products
- Design products with the absence of hazardous additives
Objective 2
To reduce environmental impact in manufacture process >25%
- Reduce pollution in water supplies by eliminating PFAS and other harmful chemicals
- Will reach an abrupt reduction in waste production, through the implementation of the PROPLANET Replication Tool
- A cradle-to-grave analysis will be implemented, followed by circularity business models development
Objective 2

- Savings in money for trials and reduction of time to await for results
- New substances will have <10% of environmental persistence to the PFAS and a decreased transport by water and air (>80%)
- Successfully distributing the PROPLANET computational generated knowledge and knowhow in a user-friendly interface
Objective 4
To boost the high-performance safe and sustainable coatings in new markets
- Ensure the appropriate management of the IPs
- Maximise social acceptance by involving social activities
- Support the introduction to new markets of novel materials
- Contribute to Best Practices in the sector of SSbD materials
