On March 18th, we celebrate the 6th Global Recycling Day, a global initiative that highlights the significance of recycling in promoting a circular economy. Recycling plays a crucial role in conserving our natural resources and reducing waste. As part of the PROPLANET Project, we are dedicated to actively supporting circularity by embracing Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles. Our project focuses on developing innovative solutions that not only prioritise recycling but also incorporate sustainable practices throughout the entire product life cycle.
By implementing SSbD principles, we aim to minimise environmental impact, maximise resource efficiency, and promote the adoption of responsible recycling practices. Through our research and collaboration, we strive to contribute to a greener future by driving positive change in the way we consume, produce, and recycle materials. Together, let’s make a difference on this Global Recycling Day and every day by embracing recycling as a cornerstone of a sustainable world.
