Last week, the PROPLANET Project was presented during the ECOSYSTEX Insights Series #18 webinar, held on 14 November 2025 from 10:00 to 11:30 CET. The session was hosted by ECOSYSTEX, providing a platform for EU-funded projects and research initiatives to share their latest results, innovations, and insights with a wider scientific and industrial audience.
Representatives from AITEX and the National Institute of Chemistry (Kemijski inštitut) presented the PROPLANET project, highlighting its work on developing PFAS-free, safe, and sustainable coatings with practical applications in textiles, food packaging, and glass surfaces. The presentation showcased the project’s innovative approach to combining scientific research, industrial feasibility, and environmental responsibility.
The webinar also featured presentations from the ZeroF Project and other sister initiatives, including the Ellie.Connect and RegioGreenTex platforms, emphasizing synergies between EU projects in advancing sustainable materials and circular economy solutions. The event offered an opportunity for discussion, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across projects working towards greener and safer manufacturing processes.
