Last week, HOLOSS proudly represented the PROPLANET Project at the ACI Biobased Coatings Europe 2025 conference, held on 4–5 June 2025. The event brought together leading voices from across the entire coatings value chain, including industry representatives, research institutions, and technology developers, to discuss the future of sustainable coatings.
As global demand rises for safer, more sustainable materials, this event served as a timely platform for in-depth conversations around critical issues facing the sector. Topics ranged from the availability of renewable raw materials to compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, as well as strategies for reducing the environmental and carbon footprint of coating products.
HOLOSS used this opportunity to showcase the PROPLANET Project’s mission and ongoing work in developing PFAS-free, bio-based coating technologies tailored to the needs of the food packaging machinery sector. By engaging with stakeholders across research and industry, we helped elevate awareness of our innovative approaches and reinforced the project’s role in driving sustainable transformation within the coatings industry. Participating in events like ACI Biobased Coatings Europe is vital to building strong partnerships, aligning with market needs, and ensuring that cutting-edge research translates into real-world solutions.
Let’s continue to push the boundaries of green innovation and accelerate the transition to bio-based, PFAS-free coatings — together.
