On 29–30 May 2025, NIC had the pleasure of attending the 50th International Symposium on Novelties in Textiles (ISNT 2025) in the stunning city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This landmark edition of the symposium marked five decades of innovation and collaboration in the textile sector, attracting a diverse group of researchers, students, academic experts, and industry professionals from across Europe and beyond.
The event served as a dynamic platform to exchange the latest findings, explore emerging technologies, and discuss future trends in textile materials, sustainable practices, and smart textile solutions. Attendees engaged in insightful presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all focused on driving the textile industry toward a more sustainable and innovative future.
NIC was proud to be part of this prestigious gathering, actively contributing to the ongoing dialogue around sustainable textiles, smart materials, and technological advancements. Our team shared valuable insights and research findings, sparking meaningful conversations with fellow participants and highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in shaping the next generation of textile solutions.
We extend our congratulations to the organisers for an expertly executed event and look forward to continued engagement with the ISNT community as we work together toward a smarter, more sustainable textile industry.
