Another successful collaboration meeting among leading PFAS-free European initiatives has just concluded, and PROPLANET was right at the heart of it.
Represented by our partner HOLOSS, the PROPLANET Project was presented as part of the broader discussion on tackling the shared challenges of developing alternatives to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)—chemicals known for their persistence in the environment and potential risks to human health.
During the meeting, HOLOSS shared the project’s core vision and progress, with a focus on the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach being applied to innovative coatings for textiles, food packaging, and glass. The discussion offered an excellent opportunity to align strategies with fellow PFAS-free initiatives, exchange insights, and begin shaping a common pathway toward safer, more sustainable material solutions.
By building strong connections with other EU projects working toward similar goals, PROPLANET continues to grow its network and amplify its impact, helping to engage a wider community of stakeholders and policy influencers committed to driving systemic change.
