The PROPLANET Project is being showcased at SUSCHEME-SUSTENS2 2026 through the participation of project partner EXELISIS IKE, contributing to an event that brings together researchers, industry representatives, and innovators working towards safer and more sustainable materials and industrial processes.
At the EXELISIS exhibition booth, visitors have the opportunity to learn more about the achievements of the PROPLANET Project, which successfully developed PFAS-free coating solutions for applications in textiles, food packaging, and glass. The project also promoted the implementation of Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles, supporting the development of innovative materials with reduced environmental impact while contributing to Europe’s transition towards a circular economy.
The event provides an excellent platform to present the project’s key outcomes, exchange knowledge with the wider research and industrial community, and discuss future directions for sustainable materials and advanced coating technologies.
Although the project has now concluded, its results continue to support research and innovation efforts aimed at replacing hazardous substances with safer, high-performance alternatives and promoting more sustainable manufacturing practices.
